Meet The Team
Eric Kraimer
In the early 90’s I was reading the Telluride Daily Planet and learned that Scott Fly Rods was moving to Telluride. Shortly thereafter I joined their team. Seven years later, it was time for a new journey and started Red Heron Sales, LLC. A large factor in my decision to start this business was how wonderful the community of Anglers were within our region’s marketplace. The quality and diversity of the fishery also weighed in heavily.
Many incredible relationships have been established and true partnerships were born. Our Brand Portfolio has only experienced a few changes in nearly 20 years. Trust and communication are a must with any successful relationship, and I am thankful for the relationships we have with both our Retailers and Manufactures. We have helped build some incredible businesses along the way and it’s been a pleasure working with so many professional and passionate anglers.
Daniel Roberts
Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, my dad taught me how to bass fish the muddy back waters of the Arkansas River at an early age. I balanced my time between conventional gear and my Eagle Claw fly rod combo, but everything changed when I got my first fly tying kit.
During my high school and College education, I worked with a couple of different fly shops. Through this work, I was able to build understanding of what customers were looking for both from a personal standpoint in how they wanted to be treated in a store as well as a customer standpoint. This has had a positive response to how we conduct our day to day business.
